My college readers, it's that time during the summer to get your house in order, meaning get that fall internship so you can graduate, get a chic job, make lots of money to buy shoes and handbags when you grow up. Also, get your first dip at fashion week.
Marie Claire is looking for fashion interns for fall '08 to start ASAP through December. Responsibilities include outreaching to publicists for designer samples, messengering samples to and from showrooms, assisting with editorial shoots, steaming clothes, taking digital photos (tons), I.D.'ing sample inventory, assisting editors with fashion week invites, RSVP's and seating assignments and yep, coffee runs. If you're good enough (or if you know a friend, sister or cousin) please email resume along w/a brief paragraph stating your ambitions.
